1. How to use the past perfect – 1:10
2. Using the Past Perfect to Tell a Story – 4:55
That’s exactly right. I learned the perfect tenses in high school and college but I have never really used them confidently. I struggled and oftentimes didn’t use it at all since I was afraid I would be making mistakes. Luckily, I came across this channel. My sentences will still be riddled with mistakes but I know for sure with practice and with your help, I’ll be fine.
I love this ❤❤
Wonderful lesson 👏 🙂
Good teaching techniques
Can we say that past perfect is a past of past ?

I'm going to tell you a story. This happened to me when I was in 9th standard. It was the end of the academic year. so, our PT was conducting indoor as well as outdoor games. My classmates were playing chess, they asked me to join them. I was hesitant at first because I had played this game in my 4th standards and almost forgot all the rules. My friends explained me the rules to play the game in a very simple way because they had been playing for years. Guess what happened! I won the game with the girl who taught me. I took it as a win win situation because she taught me well and i won the game.
I booked my exam 5 months ago. That was my second attempt because I hadn't scored my desired band score in my first attempt.
Thank you 😊💕
Thank you very much Oxford online English . I have been benefited a lot from your lessons . Mea Alaah bless you guys.
Loved the way you teach. I have a question. Is 'We had our car repaired at Mikes' sentence past perfect?
I'm not exaggerating, but this video is incredible. I've just ordered a book for advanced grammar. I read this topic in the book more than once, but it wasn't clear at all. Although, this book is supposed to be the best world selling! I just understood it perfectly when I listened to this video. The best way of explaining ever. Thank you so much. From now on, I will refer to Oxford Online English every time.
You are fantastic. It is perfect, so professional.
