A Ms. Cai recently posted on Facebook that she was not allowed to tour the United Nations Office at Geneva due to her Republic of China passport. She said UN personnel told her that Taiwan is a part of China. They asked her to show a Chinese passport or identity card. The foreign ministry has filed a complaint with the UN.

一位蔡小姐在臉書發文指出，她日前出遊日內瓦，持中華民國護照打算進聯合歐洲總部參觀，卻被擋了下來，櫃檯人員說台灣是中國大陸的一部份，請她拿出中國護照或身份證。外交部得知消息後，已向聯合國表達嚴正抗議。
