The Centers for Disease Control announced 463 new cases of dengue fever on Sept. 13, bringing the total to 9,566. Infectious disease experts say that based on international research, there may also be 90,000 people who are unaware that they are infected with dengue fever. The CDC reminds the public that the best way to prevent dengue fever is to remove all potential mosquito breeding sites.

疾管署公布、13號又新增463例本土登革熱病例，累計全台病例數已達到9566例，有專家從國外研究推估，全台除了登革熱發病者之外，可能還有大約九萬人遭感染登革病毒而不自知，可能成為防疫漏洞。疾管署強調，防治登革熱最好的方法就是清除孳生源，才能降低感染風險。
