The good news is, strokes can be treated(v.治療), and these days(最近), they claim(v.宣稱) fewer American lives than they did, say, 20 or 30 years ago. Now, several factors(n.因素) can increase your risk of having a stroke: smoking, obesity(n.肥胖), having high cholesterol(膽固醇) or blood pressure. But there's a new study that suggests there might be an unusual connection(n.關係) between strokes and fast food. These findings showed that the risk of a stroke for people living in a neighborhood went up by 1% for every fast food restaurant in the area.
